Veteran Awards Program
Veterans & Veteran Spouse Transformational Retreat Awards
Thank you for your interest in applying for an award to attend programs designed to support your personal growth and well-being. The Give to Give Foundation proudly supports U.S. Veterans and their spouses by offering access to private, in-house retreats that foster reflection, resilience, and meaningful connection.
Our programs are rooted in neuroscience-informed practices and experiential learning. Participants engage in activities that help strengthen leadership skills, explore strategies for stress management, build resilience, and cultivate community with fellow Veterans and spouses who share similar life experiences.
Our mission is to empower Veterans and their loved ones to navigate life beyond service with confidence, connection, and personal growth. We are honored to walk alongside you on this journey.
Programs Supported by Give to Give
Award recipients may receive financial assistance to participate in the following Give to Give Foundation-hosted retreats:
Valkyrie Retreats
Designed for male combat and service Veterans, Valkyrie retreats provide a Veteran-centered environment focused on personal growth, reflection, leadership development, and navigating life after service.
Freya Retreats
Designed for female Veterans and Veteran spouses, Freya retreats honor the unique roles of those who served and those who served alongside them, offering opportunities to build resilience, strengthen emotional balance, and connect authentically with peers.
These retreats are private, peer-driven, and facilitated by Give to Give Foundation staff and partners, ensuring a safe and supportive environment tailored specifically to the Veteran community.
Important Notes:
The Give to Give Foundation Veterans Program no longer offers awards for Progressive Online Courses or live Dr Joe Dispenza events through this application pathway. You can apply for a Dr Joe Dispenza Live weeklong event through our Community Awards Application, which is financial-need based and requires supporting documentation.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Military Status: Applicants must be a U.S. Veteran with at least two years of service, or a spouse of a U.S. Veteran with at least two years of service.
- If you are not a U.S. Veteran or Veteran spouse and are experiencing financial hardship, please apply through our Community Awards Program instead.
Prior Attendance:
- Only one award per applicant is permitted.
- Applicants who have previously received an award from the Give to Give Foundation are not eligible for additional awards.
- Applicants who have previously attended a Dr Joe Dispenza retreat (on their own or through another organization) are not eligible for Valkyrie or Freya retreats.
Program Experience
Give to Give Foundation retreats involve:
- Seated and reflective sessions
- Experiential practices designed to support personal growth, reflection, and peer connection
- Group-based activities in a supportive, peer-led environment
Travel & Expenses:
- Transportation to and from the event via flight or car is not covered by the award; all other retreat expenses are covered by the Give to Give Foundation.
- Participants should be prepared for immersive experiences designed to support long-term personal growth.
2026 Retreat Applications
Calling All Veterans & Veteran Spouses
Applications for the 2026 Give to Give Foundation Valkyrie & Freya Retreats will be open until February 23, 2026.
Important Eligibility Notes:
- This application is only for Give to Give Foundation private Valkyrie & Freya retreats.
- Veterans or spouses seeking to attend live Dr Joe Dispenza events must apply separately through the Community Awards Program and meet that program’s financial-need criteria.
- Prior attendance at a Dr Joe Dispenza retreat disqualifies applicants from Valkyrie and Freya retreats.
- Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served waitlist basis. Applicants will be contacted as space becomes available, with efforts made to serve all applicants across six annual events or roll eligible applicants into the following year.
If you feel called to this opportunity, we encourage you to apply when applications open and to share this with a Veteran or Veteran spouse who may benefit.
